박경민 (주)씨앤피 C&P 대표이사가 6월 14일 여의도 63빌딩 컨벤션센터에서 열린
'2017년 제52회 발명의 날 기념식에서 영예의 특허청장표창을 2년 연속 받았다. 그가 개발한 ‘ICT융합 실버산업 원천기술’이 높은 평가를 받았기 때문이다.
이 발명품은 고령화가 급속도로 진행되면서 ICT기술이 융합된 실버산업 분야의 대표적인 고성장 유망사업 분야이다. 따라서 이 회사 박경민 대표는 노인 등 시력이 좋지 않은 분들의 업무 및 일상생활에서 사용할 수 있는 전자확대경등을 ICT융합 실버산업 및 기술을 접목해 순수 국산기술로 발전시킨 공로를 인정받았다.
이에 앞서 박경민 대표는 국내보다는 미국, 프랑스, 독일, 영국, 일본 등 해외 선진국에서 영어 이름
'Chris Park(크리스박)으로 유명세를 이어가고 있는 것으로 알려졌다.
박 대표는 해당 분야에서 세계 1위, 2위의 원천기술을 가지고 있던 미국 Ai SquardㆍGW Micro사 등에서 개발 및 사업총괄 이사를 역임하면서 미국 및 유럽에서 ICT기술이 융합된 고령친화 제품 및 보조공학 산업 발전을 주도했다.
그는 지난 2012년 한국으로 돌아와 (주) 씨앤피 C&P 대표이사로 취임한 후 원천 핵심기술의 국산화 및 관련 산업 발전에 기여한 공로를 인정 받아 2017년에는 ICT융합산업 발전 유공자로 국무총리 표창을 수상하였으며, 2014년에는 산업통상자원부장관 표창을 수상하고 2016년 발명의 날에도 특허청장 표창을 수상한 바 있다.
(주)씨앤피 C&P 관계자는 “특허청의 IP스타기업, 중소기업청의 수출유망 중소기업, TCB기술평가 우수기업, 바이오헬스분야의 선도 기업으로 지정되어 있으며 발명품 모두 ‘Designed by Chris Park’이라는 자체 상표로 26개국에 직수출하고 있다”고 전했다.
그는 이날 수상식에서 “(주)씨앤피 C&P가 자체 기술로 개발한 카메라 모듈이 세계 1위 시장인 독일 시장에서 일본 Sony사와 경쟁하면서 시장 진입에 성공하는 등 원천기술 분야에서 두각을 나타내는 유망기술 벤처기업으로 성장했다”며 “2016년 기준 매출액 대비 R&D 투자 비율도 27%로 책정해 집중적인 연구개발 투자를 통한 R&D 역량 및 품질 기술 경쟁력을 강화하는데 기여하고 있다”고 소감을 피력했다.

CEO Park, Gyeongmin of C&P Co. Ltd won the honorary commendation from the commissioner of KIPO for two years in a row at the 52nd invention day, 2017 held in Yeouido 63 building convention center on June 14. It was because he was highly evaluated for his source technology of ICT fusion silver industry that he developed. This invention was from the representative field of high-growth promising businesses while aging is rapidly underway. Mr. Park was acknowledged for his contribution to develop Korean technology adopting ICT fusion silver industry making electronic magnifying device for people with bad eyesight like elderly people to use for their work or daily life. Mr. Park, known as Chris Park, which is his English nickname in advanced countries like the US, France, Germany, the UK, Japan and Korea. Mr. Park served as a director of development and business generalization in AI Squared and GW Micro, USA which owned the world’s first and second source technology in that field. He led senior-friendly products fused with ICT technology and assistive technology industry while working there.
In 2012, Mr. Park came back to Korea and was appointed as the CEO Of C&P Co. Ltd then focused on having source technology turn into Korean technology and develop the related industry. Mr. Park won commendation from the minister of the ministry of trade and industry, 2014, commendation of commissioner of KIPO, 2016, commendation of prime minister for ICT fusion industry development 2017. Company official said “ C&P Co. Ltd was designated as IP Star company by KIPO, a promising small and medium export company by small and medium business Administration, excellent company by TCB technology evaluation and leading company in the field of bio-health. All the inventions are exported directly to 26 countries with its own trademark as ‘Designed by Chris Park’. Mr. Park said at the award ceremony, “ C&P Co. Ltd has grown to a promising technology venture company to stand out in the field of source technology. It succeeded breaking into the market competing with Sony Japan in Germany, the world top market with camera module which C&P developed with its own technology.”and he also said “ We are investing on R&D with 27% of total gross from 2016 enhancing R&D competence with quality and technology competitiveness by intensive investment.”
